Organize and train farming house-holds in all the catchment districts to grow more cassava.
Increase cassava yields to Twelve (12) MT/acre through improved farm inputs and agronomic practices (Set to grow a minimum of 5000 acres per district per year
Establish functional farm service centers in strategic locations in farming districts that will comprise of mini-processing plants able to process up to 10MT of dry Hih Quality Cassava Chips per week.
Enhance access to quality farm inputs (tractors, quality clean cuttings, fertilizers, etc.) and extension services to approximately 250,000 farmers across the many farming districts
Establish a Community Owned Investment Network (COIN) in each community to enhance farmers’ access to working capital.
Promote a social and corporate image of CASSAVA PROJECT UGANDA and its PARTNERS in the farming community
